Marié was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court in 1998. She founded MDJ Attorneys in the same year and after nearly 30 years of practice, Marié is still as passionate about law and MDJ Attorneys as she was the day she started out. In 2003, she was also admitted as a Notary of the High Court. Marié has a flair for commercial law and in 2008, she completed an advanced certificate in commercial law.

Conveyancing and property law; drafting and execution of notarial deeds; drafting of legal commercial contracts, instruments, and opinions; and administration of deceased estates.
Theresa Hattingh

Theresa started her legal career as a receptionist and legal secretary gaining experience in general litigation, collections, and insurance law. She joined MDJ Attorneys in 2006 and was responsible for civil Magistrate’s Court litigation. Theresa was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2013, and as a Conveyancer of the High Court in 2018. Theresa has always been a valuable asset in the firm and currently heads up the Conveyancing department.
